i am simon , live in england and have 2 central asian ovtcharkas - 1 male 1.5yr from russia/afghanistan and 1 bitch 6mnths from hungary/kahzakstan. many years ago i had a georgian shepherd and 2 kangals.
I love flock guardians, they are so perceptive and, well they are very guardy when it comes to strangers around the place !
Ime planning to breed in 2013 when the bitch is 2yrs, i reckon the age is ok - whats the opionion of my peers ?
Also ive got to tell you i absolutley love the collars !! ime going to get the 3" with basket inlay 28-33", with the big brass bells - for daily use. Maybe ill get the 3" spike one for night !! ive got 3 kids and when their friends come i dont want my male gaston parading about with a couple of kids impaled on his neck -he'll think they're just playin !!

So sorry to take so long in welcoming you to the forum. I am glad you found us here. Your dog is beautiful, I can't seem to find the other in the photo..... I hope you enjoy th eforum and give us all some more information on the CAO...magnificient breed.
